Will this ram work on my motherboard?

0

I have an ASUS P4P800 motherboard, now i've run CrucialScan on my computer and it says that this type of ram is compatible:

2GB kit (1GBx2), 184-pin DIMM, DDR PC3200 memory module

Module Size: 2GB kit (1GBx2)

Package: 184-pin DIMM

Feature: DDR PC3200

Specs: DDR PC3200 • CL=3 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR400 • 2.6V • 128Meg x 64

On Ebay, I found this ram at a cheap price:

* Performance: PC3200

* Dual Channel ready

* 2.5 Volts

* DQ DQ Burst Frequency: 400MHz

* Inputs and outputs are SSTL-18 compatible

* CAS latency 3.0

* 128x4 X 2 DDR SDRAM CHIP CONFIGURATION

* SDRAM have 4 internal banks for concurrent operation

* Differential clock inputs

* Data is read or written on both clock edges

* Bi-directional data strobe with one clock cycle preamble and one-half clock post-amble

* Address and control signals are fully synchronous to positive clock edge

* Programmable Operation:

* Burst Type: Sequential or Interleave

* Burst Length: 4, 8

* Operation: Burst Read and Write

* Auto Refresh (CBR) and Self Refresh Modes

* Automatic and controlled precharge commands

* Serial Presence Detect

* SDRAMs in FBGA Package

* RoHs compliance

I know both descriptions are almost the same but I just want to be sure that the ebay one will work on my motherboard before buying it...

Any help very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

i dont see why not.. looks like standard DDR 3200 memory

Hi there

To be sure have your system scanned at this site.

http://www.crucial.com/

It will load the driver,scan your system and tell you what is required.
