Please answer quickly. I am going to the petstore at four o'clock today. I want to know what are water testing kits for, how much they cost, and how often I should do this. I will award ten points to the best answer. Please help.

You need test kits for:

NitrIte and NitrAte

PH

Ammonia

Avoid testing strips as they can be inaccurate, try to get ones that use the test tubes. They normally cost £5 to £10, for each, in the UK, (about $10-$20)

If it's a newly set up tank, you should test everyday so that you can keep track of the nitrogen cycle, and then go down to once a week once you have cycled your tank.

If you need more information on cycling your tank, look here: http://fins.actwin.com/mirror/begin-cycling.html

I believe that water testing kits can test different things in the water, such as chemical levels and such.

You may be able to pick one up at a local fish supply store or a pet store.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!

Look for a kit that measures ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Those are the things you need to know. The kits can be quite expensive, in the $30 range.

Your ammonia and nitrite levels should be 0 and nitrates are alright in low levels. You need to know this so you know if you need to do emergency water changes to keep your fish healthy.

water testing kits are to test your Ph, Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, and some water hardness. do not get test strips. get an API liquid freshwater master test kit. they genreally cost around ten dollars, sometimes more, sometimes less.

I assume this is for fish. Check it once a week.

You don't need a test kit.

If you freeze it it will turn to a solid.

Stick your finger in it and if it's wet - it's water.

If you boil it and it turns to steam - it's water.

This is a water test kit.

Waterkits are for ph levels and stuff, they cost not alot im sure under 50$

And do it about once a week or so.

A water testing kit is a kit used for testing water, soil, and air.

They are around $95.00. I would use them every other week but im not sure on that part sorry.
