Back in the day.... when riders went from motocross to enduro to cross-country and back, they had what was called quick-clip lights. They are updated nowdays and used on the baja 1000 bikes. They include tail light, Headlamp and use a crude yet effective switch for brakelights. It all hooks to the battery by way of connection points installed from the battery to dangling plug(s).. If you gotta get your dirtbike on the street thats the way to go. Try an outfitter for baja competition parts. A tach/speedo pair set off a Kawasaki of around the same year will bolt right on...
At any agricultural machine house you can get a miscellaneous hour meter. Mount it just about anywhere. happy hunting
